Rajasthan Travel - Travel in the Royal State of India


Rajasthan, The word itself gives an idea that it is one of the most popular sightseeing places in India. It is located in the north-west of India. Formerly called Rajputana; a group of small states. History:
        Rajasthan as remained as the early history for the most independent from the great empires associating hold on their sub-continent.         Earlier, northern India was divided ion into several kingdoms. In those kingdoms, the most popular was the Pratihara dynasty and Pala Dynasty in the 8th century. There was an engraving in the Gwalior saying that Nagabhata “crushed the large army of the powerful mechcha king”, as he was the first ruler. There are some original Hindu sources like Inscription of Bauka pratihara in Jodhpur, Inscription of Bhoja pratihara in Gwalior etc. Many of the Past rulers of Rajasthan sustained to use the title of maharaja for social purposes, as this is used as a status symbol.

        This is the second largest city in Rajasthan; this place previously was the capital of the Princely state Marwar. The most import places you can visit are Mehrangarh fort and museum, Umaid Bhawan palace and museum, Jaswant Thada, Government Museum.
Mount Abu:
        It is located at the southern tip of the Aravali ranges. The road leading to Mount Abu is Curved and dotted with big stones of different sizes and a heavy breeze. The places you can visit here are Museums and art Galleries, Gardens and parks, Temples like Gaumukh Temple, Dilwarajain Temple, AndharDevi Temple, Sunset point, Honeymoon point.
Udaipur – The City of Dawn :
